Amanda "Mandi" Rose Watkins

Amanda “Mandi” Rose Watkins, 39, of Pocatello, passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer on June 13, 2022. She was in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Mandi is survived by her husband Jade, her daughters Hailey (John) and Kayla (Cody), her grandchildren Connor, Skylar, and Ridge, her siblings Josh and Jessica (Colin), and her parents Ed and Dinna Quinn.

Mandi was born on March 2, 1983, in Pocatello, ID. Her parents raised her out in the country in McCammon with her two siblings, Josh and Jessica. She was a member of the McCammon 4-H Club and worked with horses. She was also in the Select Women’s Choir in Marsh Valley, performed in a few musicals, took violin and piano lessons, and took dance classes. She graduated from North Gem High in Bancroft, where she spent her senior year.  She soon got married after graduation and began her 22-year-long career as a dental assistant, which she thoroughly enjoyed and loved the people she worked with.

Mandi’s other hobbies included hiking, running, riding bicycles, reading, coloring, dirt biking, 4-wheeling and shooting. She loved participating in the local fun runs and bike rides with her mom and sister and she loved going camping with her family in the summertime.

On March 26, 2010, she married the love of her life, Jade Watkins, and became an instant mom to Hailey and Kayla. Soon after, Hailey and Kayla met their significant others. Mandi was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Connor, Skylar and Ridge. They shared a beautiful life together and created so many memories as a family.
