Amanda May Baker, 36, passed away June 10, 2017 at a local hospital of natural causes. Amanda was born July 30, 1980 in Murray, Utah daughter of Darwin and Vicky Ritzert. Amanda was raised and educated in Holden, Utah where she graduated from Millard High School in 1998. She studied pre-law at Utah State University. She married Harold Wayne Baker on February 17, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho. Her employment included six years at the Utah Department of Transportation, Pita Pit, and most recently Home Depot. She loved listening to music, cooking, crafts, reading, throwing darts, dancing, and especially being with her children. She is survived by her spouse, Wayne Baker; children, Kira Lee Jensen, Kameron Jensen, Kolton Jensen, all of Utah; stepchildren, Sierra Baker, Adam Baker, Dillon Baker, Dustin Baker, all of Pocatello, Idaho; sister, Nicole Laub, Utah; brothers, Rusty Johnson, Jeremy Carter, both of Indiana, and Phillip Ritzert, Utah; mother, Vicky Farnsworth, Utah; and father, Darwin Ritzert. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11 am also at Colonial Funeral Home, with a visitation from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services. Burial to follow at the Lava Hot Springs Cemetery. Donations may be made at gofundme.com under the name Amanda Ritzert Baker.
