Beverly Nadine (Buttars) Black, 81, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015. Beverly was born on July 7, 1933 in Idaho Falls, ID to James L. Buttars and Myrtle Carter Buttars. Beverly was the 6 th of 9 children that grew up in Ammon, Idaho. She went to school at Idaho Falls High and graduated in 1951. On March 27, 1953, Beverly married Monte Jones at her parents home in Ammon. Two daughters came from that union, Debra in 1954 and Deann in 1955. Beverly and Monte later divorced. Beverly married Robert L. Black on April 28, 1964, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Robert brought to that union a daughter from a previous marriage, Debra Ann Black. Robert and Beverly were married for 44 years until his death in February of 2008. Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Debra Jones of Firth, ID, Deann Jones of Pocatello, ID; and step-daughter, Debra Ann Black of Coeur dAlene, ID; two brothers, Harold Buttars of Idaho Falls, ID, and Richard Buttars of Boise, ID. Beverly had 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. Beverly will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert, at Eternal Valley Mortuary in Newhall, California. There will be no funeral services per her wishes. A celebration of her life will be held for family, friends, and loved ones at a later determined date. The family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the staff of The Gables of Shelley over the past five years for their love and care of Beverly. Also, to the hospice nurses and volunteers of Encompass Home Health and Hospice of Idaho Falls for their kindness and selfless dedication and service to those in need.
