Bradley Judkins

December 21, 1972 — June 6, 2023

“Goodbyes are not the end. It simply means I'll miss you until we meet again.” – Marvel Comics

It brings our family sadness to announce the passing of Bradley James Judkins “Brad”.

Brad regained his wings, June 6th, 2023, at the age of 50. He passed in the arms of his loving sister and surrounded by family and friends.

Brad was born December 21, 1972, in Pocatello Idaho, to Thomas J. Judkins (Jim) and Barbara (Bobbi) Allman Judkins.

Brad was raised in Pocatello where he graduated from HS in 1990. He was raised with a large and very close extended family enjoying numerous outdoor activities like camping, mountain man rendezvous, fishing, and boating.

Brad was especially fond of Holidays, didn’t matter which holiday, just as long as it involved friends and family gatherings. Brad made sure he was always the family clown, and you could be sure he was up to something mischievous at every affair.

Brad was a medal winning athlete in the “Special Olympics”. Brad cherished competing in both swimming and bowling events. Medals and trophies were prized possessions for the remainder of his life.

Brad enjoyed television programs and movies. Favorites included Marvel Comics, Hulk, Spiderman, and Avengers. He also loved Avatar, Harry Potter, and most Disney movies. When Brad was young, he never missed WWE Wrestling, where he would study moves to practice on unsuspecting cousins at the next family affair. You didn’t want to get the “Sleeper Hold”.

Characteristics of Brads that all his friends and family can relate to include a rope, when Brad was young, he always had a piece of rope. He could entertain himself for hours on end tying and tossing his rope. Occasionally his rope got him in some trouble, that’s another story. Brad never wanted anyone to ever miss his birthday, so the first thing out his mouth at every meeting was “It’s my BIRTHDAY”. Brad loved food, he would always be the first and the last one in the food line, usually with a few pockets full for later. Brad was never married, but he had many “girlfriends”, according to him.

Brad was living in Idaho Falls Idaho at the time of his passing in a home operated by “Home Reach”. His caregivers at Home Reach deserve recognition for the very special care and love they showed Brad, he has always been blessed with wonderful caregivers. Brad was also under the care of Enhabit Hospice at the time of his passing, who made this impossible time understandable and manageable. Thank you very much from our family to yours.

Brad is survived by his sister, Shauna Anderson (Torry); niece, Alison Yates (Jacek); nephew, Justin Anderson (Cambria); niece Tori Anderson “Sister”; niece, Samantha Anderson; nephew, Zakariah Anderson; and bonus mother, Beverley Olsen Judkins.

He is preceded in death by, Thomas Judkins and Barbara Judkins (parents), Joseph Judkins, Berniece Judkins and Lucy Hicks (grandparents), Larry Allman, Gene Judkins, Daniel Judkins (uncles) and Pamela Clark (aunt).
