Charles Allen Barker

June 29, 1950 — June 14, 2022

Charles "Chuck" Barker, 71 passed away on June 14, 2022 surrounded by his family that he loved so dearly.

Chuck was born in Beverly, Massachusetts on June 29th, 1950 to Charles and Helen Barker. Chuck was the first of four children. The family moved to El Segundo, California in 1965 and two years later in 1967 moved to Canyon Country, California where he met his future wife Donna.

Chuck and Donna lived across the street from each other and grew up together. They were married on November 11th, 1972 and had two children Jeanette and Joseph. In 1993 they moved their family to Pocatello, Idaho.

Chuck loved astronomy, he owned the most amazing telescopes and even build his own telescope back in the early 70's. He enjoyed camping, listening to his vinyl records on his turntable, flying his drones and more than anything he loved being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Helen Barker and his sister Judith Barker.

Chuck is survived by his wife Donna of 49 years, daughter Jeanette ( Jerry) son Joseph, his 4 grandchildren, Kevin, Nick, Jerry & Ashley and his brothers Gary and Wayne Barker.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wilks Funeral Home on Friday, June 24th, at 2:00 pm followed by a graveside service at Mountian View Cemetery. The family has invited everyone to return back to Wilks for food and refreshments.
