Chris L. Murdock

Christopher Lee Murdock, was born on April 14, 1979 in Pocatello, ID to William (Bill) and Gayle (Egan) Murdock. Upon the marriage of his father in 1997, Beth Murdock became his second mother. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Beth; grandmother, Colleen Murdock; brother, Joey (Jenny) Murdock of Pocatello. His step-brothers, Kris, Mike, and Rich Simmons, and his honorary brother, Bruce (Cathy) Still. Aunts and uncles, Darrell Murdock, Sally (Scott) Horne, Dinah Garcia, Kevin (Debbie) Egan, Kelly (David) PPool, & Pat Brownfield. Chris was the favorite uncle to Aiden, Zoey, Trevor, Jacob, and Tony. Cousin, and friends too numerous to mention them all but you know who you are. Chris attended Pocatello High. Our Big Teddy Bear was an avid lover of music, the great outdoors, and his beloved boxer Ali. At the time of his death he was happily working in the family business Murdock Concrete Pumping and resided in Pocatello. His cookings skills were put to good use at various restaurants, home and camping functions. Chris was an outgoing social person who made friends easily wherever he went, and was loved by all. Chris died at home on May 12, 2016 in Pocatello, ID. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Maurice (Mugs) Murdock and Floyd Collins; grandmother, DixieLee (Dee) Egan; mother, Gayle Ann (Egan) Murdock; uncles, Ron (Paula) Murdock, and Buzz Brownfield. Last year Chris achieved his lifelong dream of finally shooting his prize Elk. Chris and Ali are together again. For all his family and friends know that Chris loved you all regardless if he saw you yesterday or 3 years ago. Memorial services for Chris will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 3 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 South 4 th Avenue Pocatello, Idaho. 208-233-1500.
