PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION CHANGE FOR THE FUNERAL SERVICES Darla Faye Schlattmann, 65, passed quietly from this earth Saturday, March 19, 2016. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Gwen and Wayne Robinson. As a child, Darla was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She moved many times throughout her elementary school years. In junior high she became the mascot for the Alameda Yellow Jackets. Darla graduated in 1968 from Shelley High School. Darla attended vocational school at Idaho State University and became proficient at shorthand. She had many different occupational interests including: working as a checker for BiLo, a telephone switchboard operator, a Co-op secretary, and a self-employed house cleaner. Darla married Larry W. Schlattmann in 1975 in Pocatello, Idaho. Darla and Larry had three young girls to whom she was a loving and devoted mother. Darla and Larry were married for 10 years. Darla enjoyed bike riding, picnics, barbecues, swimming, holidays, and spending time with loved ones. She had a sense of humor and enjoyed making those around her smile, and she could sure whistle loud. More than anything, she loved talking to people about her daughters and grandchildren. She could often be found showing their photographs to others. Darla is survived by her daughters, Amber J. Rapp, Kuna, ID, Amy L. (Wesley) Paige, Kuna, ID, and Alicia J. Schlattmann, Kuna, ID. Darla is also survived by her devoted mother, Gwen Hall, Pocatello, ID; and three brothers, Ed Robinson, Post Falls, ID, Jerry Robinson, Spokane, WA, Greg Robinson, Gainesville, TX. Darla was the loving grandmother to five grandchildren, Abbigail and Dayson Paige, and Colton, Ryder, and Tyson Rapp. Darla was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Robinson; step-father, Frank Hall; and grandparents. During this difficult time, family takes comfort in knowing that Darla can finally be at peace with her Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2 pm at COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83201, with a viewing for one hour prior to the services also at Colonial. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83204.
