Delphine Eagle

Delphine Eagle, 60, passed away at her home, Friday, January 18, 2013. Delphine was born, January 5, 1953 to Dan Thorpe and Josephine Thorpe Jake, who passed early in her life. She was raised by her father, grandmother, Nettie S. Necklace, uncle, Joseph Frank Thorpe Jr. and cousin Marilyn Thorpe Valdez, in her early years. She moved with her father to Lincoln Creek. She lived in Lincoln Creek for 17 years. She later married Harvey L. Eagle, February 14, 1990.

Delphine was an avid bead worker. She enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts, flowers, gardening, doing puzzles, tanning hides, camping, fishing and hunting deer. She was an avid animal lover.

Delphine is survived by her husband, Harvey L. Eagle, Fort Hall, Id, step-son, Robert D. Eagle, Sparks, NV, step-daughters: Loretta F. Birdhat, Reno, NV, Sandra Eagle, Sutcliffe, NV, Tammy Eagle, Sparks, NV, Rebecca Eagle, Wadsworth, NV, brothers: Floyd D. Thorpe and Reginald Thorpe, Fort Hall, Id, a cousin, Louise Poire, Fort Hall, ID, a niece, Karen L. Stone, Fort Hall, ID, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Dan Thorpe and Josephine Thorpe Jake, grandmothers: Nettie S. Necklace and Josephine J. Thorpe, uncle, Frank Thorpe and a dear cousin, Marilyn Thorpe Valdez.
