Dewaine Jensen, 91, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013. He was born in Smoot, WY, on November 8, 1921, the 3 rd of 12 children. He attended school there until the 8 th grade when he quit to help support the family. He was drafted in the Army at 18 and served in N. Africa, France, Italy, and Germany. Dewaine married Jean Pringle in Evantston, WY, on November 8, 1945. They recently celebrated 67 years of marriage. He worked 4 years for Reuben Johnson on his sheep farm in Smoot and also worked as a farmer with sheep and cattle until getting a job at FMC in 1952. He retired from there in 1983. Dewaine was a member of the Pocatello Men's Bowling League and also bowled for FMC for 30 years. He belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jean and him were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1948. Dewaine enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, horse shoe tournaments at the Jensen family reuinions, and watching his grandkids play baseball. He is survived by his wife Jean of Pocatello; daughter Rayleen Reynolds of Pocatello; son Kirk (Sandy) Jensen of Chubbuck; daughter Judy Davis of Pocatello; son Tim (Marnel) Jensen of Inkom; daughter Dory (John) Henesh of American Falls; brother Leonard (Marion) Jensen of Brigham City, UT; brother LaVon (Joyce) Jensen of Kenniwick, WA; numerous nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, 6 brothers, son-in-law Bob Reynolds, and two granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the Century Ward LDS Chapel on the corner of 4 th and Fredrigill. A visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave, and also one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Fredrigill.
