Douglas Kenneth Evans, 53, of Pocatello, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, at home, peacefully surrounded by family.

Doug was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on August 10, 1958, to Kenneth Evans and Raema Doran. He spent his whole life living in the Pocatello area. Doug attended public school in Pocatello and was in Highland High School's class of 1977. In 1980 he joined the Ironworkers Union, and spent his whole life as a member of Local 732. In his free time he enjoyed the many recreations available in our area including hunting, fishing, and camping. Other interests were music, playing guitar, reading, and self-education.

Douglas married Bonnie Archibald in 1983, and two Children were born to them, Sharra Mae-Ann 1983, and Nicholas Richard 1986. Doug and Bonnie were later divorced. Doug and Katharyn Hysell were married in 2006.

Doug passed away after a battle with colon cancer. Preceding him in death were his parents, Raema and Ken, grandparents, and infant brother, Daniel David.

Left to cherish his memory, wife Kathy, daughter Sharra (Dayne) Valgardson of Pocatello, son Nick (Priscilla) Evans of Pocatello, daughter Chessie Hardy of Pocatello, daughter Adell Divin of Pocatello, grandchildren London, Emma, and Tannen of Pocatello, grandchildren Sylas and baby girl Valgardson due in July of Pocatello, sister Michelle (Gary) Tullberg of Lenox, Iowa, brother David (Nicole) Evans of Chubbuck, father Sam Doran of Pocatello, brother-in-law Michael (Ann) Hysell of Pocatello, brother-in-law Mark (Cindy) Hysell of Pocatello, and sister-in-law Christina (Greg) Rayborn.
