Gail Mayne

Gail Mayne was born June 18th, 1939 to William (Bill) and Merle Stowe in Montpelier, Idaho. She was welcomed home to the loving arms of two older sisters, Marjean and Bardee, and her brother Terell would follow ten years later.

She spent most of her childhood in Georgetown, Idaho and graduated from Soda Springs High School. Gail met the love of her life, Harry A Mayne, in 1957 and they were married shortly after in November of that year. They enjoyed the next sixty years of their lives together raising a family and enjoying all the adventures and obstacles life brought their way. Harry and Gail settled in Grace, Idaho in 1968 where they raised their six children: Kevin Lee (deceased), Brenda Gail (Bruce Dana), Sheldon Albert (Ruth), Shannon Kaye (Clay Gentry), Shelly Rae Cline, and Stacey Marrie (Matt Sanderson). She enjoyed her 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

After the passing of her sweetheart Harry, Gail moved to Pocatello, Idaho, to start a new chapter of her life. She enjoyed the company of her friends at dinners she would host. Gail loved spending time with her sister BarDee Firebaugh, shopping, going to the senior center for potlucks and dancing, going to karaoke and Revive at Five, and recently going out to dances at Tyhee.

Gail loved animals and enjoyed the companionship of all her pets. She enjoyed her family to a great extent and was loved by all in return.
