Gayle Ann Goff Eames, of Pocatello,ID born January 26 ,1953 passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Portneuf Medical center. She was born the 4th of 9 children of Grange and Katherine Goff in Midvale, Utah. Gayle primarily attended school in American Falls graduating in 1971. She married Michael D. Eames in Elko, Nevada in January 1972. Together they had 4 children; Shane, Chris, Curtis, and Michelle. Mike took a job in Utah in 1973 and lived there until 1985 when they moved back to Pocatello. Gayle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 9th Ward.She was a beautiful woman, loving mother and amazing friend. She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Eames, three sons; Shane (Heather) Eames, Chris (Katie) Eames, Curtis Eames, and a daughter Michelle (Dennis) Burr, all of Pocatello, siblings; Marla Goff, Wade (Jackie) Goff, Connie Jimerson, Neil Goff, Brenda (Jerry) Naylor, Brian (Margaret) Goff, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Brent Goff and a sister Sheryl Goff. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 9th Ward, corner of Quinn and Hawthorne. A viewing will be held from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Thursday evening at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Avenue, Pocatello, and one hour prior to the services at the Church. Burial will follow at Falls View cemetery in American Falls. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be in Gayle's name at 2005 S. 4th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho, 83201.
