Gaylene Faye Correll

Gaylene Faye Correll, 78, passed away on August 24, 2021.

Gaylene Correll was born December 13, 1942 in Downey, Idaho to Verda Eva Neaf and Trevor Moss. She was the youngest of four children.

She was raised and attended schools in Pocatello, Idaho.

In her younger years she loved to spend time with family camping, hunting and fishing. She loved flowers, gardening and all animals including her dog companions that she held dear to her heart.

Mom was a very talented artist with amazing drawings from her elementary years and later painting beautiful pictures on canvas. When she wasn’t painting she loved doing crafts and putting puzzles together.

Gaylene is survived by her daughters Crystal (Richard) Leyba Chubbuck, Idaho; Wendy (Karl) Kempe Soda Springs, Idaho; sons Kelly Covert, Montana; Kevin (Andrea) Galloway, Pocatello, Idaho; Scott Green, Blackfoot, Idaho and Curtis Green Pocatello, Idaho; a sister Shirley (Stan) Ackerman Rock Springs, Wyoming; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gaylene was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Bailey Johanson; mother Verda Eva Neaf; father Trevor Moss; sister Carol Burge; brother David Sykes; sister in law Linda Sykes; half-brother Bob Moss; grandparents Charles and Kathrine Neaf and Samuel Perry and Mourelda Moss.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 3, 2021 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 West Chubbuck Road Chubbuck, Idaho 83202. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 1:00-1:50 p.m. Interment will follow the services in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
