George C. Hynes

George C. Hynes, 88, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 in Pocatello, Idaho. George was born in Quincy, Illinois, December 15, 1924 to Walter and Georgia Hynes. George attended schools in Pocatello which included: Pocatello High School and later on Idaho State University Vo-Tech where he became a diesel mechanic.

George enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and fishing.

George is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jane (Firkins) Hynes, his son Doug (Rosalva) Hynes, daughters: Sandy (Tom) Knuchel, Pam (Sherm) Schmidt, Linda Balyet, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
