Georgia Ourada, 96, passed away in her home on Monday, April 28, 2014, of natural causes. She was born March 2, 1918 in Boise, ID to Ruth and Robert E. Lee. Georgia graduated from Boise High School in 1935. On April 20, 1943, she married Duane Ourada in Boise, ID. She worked in Boise for the gas company, a bank, and later, Gowen Field Military Base. They lived in various communities in ID and OR before moving to Pocatello in 1962. She worked for Super Save Drug for 10 years. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, music, embroidering, crocheting, and cross stitch. Georgia had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Georgia was a committed Christian who loved the Lord deeply. She was involved in the Missionary Society, choir, and was the organist at the Pocatello Church of the Nazarene for many years. She loved her family and friends and was a treasure to each of them. Her unwavering faithfulness, prayers, and devotion are evident in how her family serves the Lord. Georgia is survived by Ellen (Andy) Ritzman of Idaho Falls, Larry Ourada (Max Whiteus) of Chubbuck, and Lorrie Lindsley of Pocatello. In addition, she is survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren, and 2 great- great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Duane; daughters Evelyn (Debbie) Ourada, and Barbara Isaksen. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. and for one hour prior to the service at the Church. A funeral will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 2 PM at the Pocatello Baptist Church, 190 W. Chapel Rd. Pocatello, ID.
