Helen Ruth Manley

d. April 30, 2015

Helen R Manley was born on April 3, 1934 in Glendora, California to Stanley and Hattie Ford. Her parents moved to Pahrump, Nevada when she was 10 years old. There, she lived on a farm and liked to ride the horses bareback. Helen loved making baby blankets and was a Grandma to everyone. She loved her babies. She also made quilts for her children. She loved to cook and bake. No one ever left her table hungry and if they did it was their own fault. She made sure everyone was taken care of. She had a heart of gold and she always put her family first. She made everyone feel welcome in her home. Kisses and hugs hello, and kisses and hugs good bye. She taught our family the true meaning of "Love". Helen loved to travel with Jack in the motorhome. We would hear the words "Lets go" and the motorhome was packed and ready and they were on their way. If they were not traveling she would be tending to her flowers, pulling weeds, and feeding her birds. Her favorite was looking for deer, elk and other wildlife that they both could find. Helen is survived by her loving husband, Jack; her daughters, Deborah Marcoccia (Ted), Della Joyce (Jeff), Laura Comstock (Bud); sons, Joe Manley (Karen) and Bob Manley (Debbie); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Manley. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and especially our friend. She will always be in our Hearts and in our Prayers. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 3:30 PM at the Inkom Bible Church, 251 Grant Street, Inkom, Idaho 83245. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.colonial-funeralhome.com
