Jeffrey Wayne Harmon

Jeffrey Wayne Harmon, 38, of Pocatello, Idaho returned to his heavenly home April 21, 2018. Jeff was born October 22, 1979, to Duane and Connie (Barley) Harmon. He was a lifelong residence of Pocatello. Throughout his life he courageously battled Sanfilippo Syndrome. He was able to attend special education at Ellis and Lincoln Elementary, Irving Middle, and Highland High. He enjoyed his bus rides to and from school. During Jeffs younger years he was very active. When he became super excited he did a little jig we called the "Jeffie Shuffle". He loved music and especially loved to play his piano. Jeffs favorite pastimes included walking back and forth on his grandparents porch, walking around his yard with his mom, and going for car rides with his parents. He spent most of his older years in bed. He lost his ability to do the things he loved, but occasionally he would open his eyes and share a sweet smile. Jeffs siblings would like to thank our beloved parents for taking such wonderful care of him throughout his life. The family would also like to thank Dr. Bailey and Dr. Shelley for Jeffreys recent care. Jeff is survived by his parents; his siblings, Brian Harmon, Lisa (Doug) Whiting, Richard (Holly) Harmon, Brent (Mikel) Harmon and Jana (David) Richards; his 6 nephews, Jeff, Trey, Marcus, Calan, Kamden, Bridger; and 11 nieces, Jen, Amber, Jessica, Alyssa, Kaytlin, Sarah, Kalianne, BreAnna, Kenna, Macy, and Kailey. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Elva Harmon and Ted and Norma Barley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Tyhee Stake Center, 12146 West Tyhee Road, (corner of Tyhee and Moonglow) Pocatello, Idaho, with a viewing for one hour prior. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83204.
