Judith Renee Boyd

Judith ReNee Boyd, 75, of Chubbuck, passed away on December 25, 2019.

Judy was born on March 28, 1944 in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Blaine and Goldie Webb. She spent most of her childhood years in Murtaugh, Idaho. She was the 3rd youngest of 11 children. She helped her family with farming chores and loved riding horses.

Judy married Robert Gayle Boyd on February 27, 1961. During their marriage they lived in Twin Falls, Idaho, Burley, Idaho, Vancouver Washington, Omaha Nebraska, and Pocatello, Idaho. Gayle and Judy had three children together: Jodi, Robert, and Lori.

Among her many talents and interest was a love for bowling. Judy was an excellent bowler and was involved in several bowling leagues, bowling a 255 on her best game. Judy was also an Avon representative for many years, and her greatest joy was giving Avon gifts to her family. She was a very generous person and gave to several charitable organizations on a monthly basis. Judy loved animals and had several pets throughout her life including her beloved poodles.

Above all else, Judy adored every member of her family and loved going to great-grandchildren events. Her family gave her the greatest joy. As her children, we want to express a special thank you to our Dad. He took such great care of mom, especially the last few years of her life. Judy was always loved and cherished by him.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert Gayle Boyd; daughter Jodi Boyd (Clark) Gunter of West Point Utah; son Robert Douglas (Patricia) Boyd of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter Lori Anne (Russell) Maitland of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Charlene Reece of Twin Falls, Idaho; brother Lamar Webb of Elko, Nevada; sister Kaye Anne Edwards of Filer, Idaho; sister Cecille Griffith of Twin Falls, Idaho; as well as 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine and Goldie Webb, and siblings Howard Webb, Cozette Draper, Carl Webb, Lyle Webb, Marvin Webb, and Joe Blaine Webb.

A celebration of life will be held in Judy's honor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, Idaho. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the service at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho.
