Judy Adams

Judy Gayle Roberts Adams, 76, of Arbon, Idaho passed away at home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. She was born January 24, 1946 in Phoenix, Arizona to Joseph & Wanda Roberts. Judy was the second child of four.


She grew up in Sunnyside, UT, Arbon, ID and American Falls, ID. She graduated from American Falls High School. After graduating high school, she attended Ricks College where she received her associate degree. She later attended BYU Provo. After college she worked at the Lamb Weston Experiment Station.


In 1967 she married Earl Eliasen and they had 2 sons, David & Travis. They were later divorced and in 1975 she married Stuart Harvey Adams. Stuart had 5 children: Becky, Todd, Lisa, Tony, and Adam. Together they had Monty, Kevin, and Amy.


In her younger years Judy took a big part in the farming operations and breaking and training of horses on her father’s ranch. She was on the rodeo team at Ricks College. Judy loved to read and had a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and studying. She deeply loved our country and freedom and loved to study and discuss current events and politics. She enjoyed working on family history and loved to serve in the temple. She loved her family and was always thinking about the next trip she could make to see them. She always loved animals and raised a wide variety throughout her life. She loved adventures, camping, traveling and seeing new country especially if it was spending time with her kids and grandkids.


Judy was a faith filled member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to serve and was a leader in many church organizations and callings including time as Relief Society president. She and Stu spent several years as service missionaries at the Bishop’s Storehouse in Pocatello and then later at the ISU Institute of Religion.


Judy is survived by her husband, Stuart Adams; siblings, Keith Roberts, Delwin (Trudy) Roberts and LeeAnn (Alan) Haslem; children, Becky Graff, Todd (Kellene) Adams, Lisa (Fred) Olige, Tony (Michelle) Adams, David (Duffy) Adams, Adam Adams, Travis (Michelle) Adams, Monty (Micki) Adams, Kevin (Katie) Adams and Amy (Jak) Kilduff; 41 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Wanda Roberts, and a son in law, Gary Graff.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8200 W. Portneuf Rd. Pocatello, Idaho with viewings on Monday evening from 6:30-8 pm, also at the church, and from 10-10:45 am prior to the services at the church. Burial will follow in the Arbon Valley Cemetery, Arbon, Idaho.


Anybody who knows Judy knows she was not a fan of frivolous spending so in lieu of flowers, please honor Judy by paying off some of your debt like she always told us to do or go on an adventure. Thank you to everyone for all of the love and support shown to Judy and her family.
