Kathleen M Gagon

Kathleen Mable Hardy Gagon, 83, of Pocatello, passed away peacefully in her home on August 23, 2021.

Kathleen was born on January 28, 1938 in Mesquite Nevada to Lister Dean Hardy and Mable Leavitt Waite. She grew up in Mesquite and graduated from high school at 16 years old.

When she was 18 years old, Kathleen married Duane Evan Gagon and moved to Soda Springs, Idaho. Kathleen would eventually move to Pocatello where she spent the remainder of her life. During her career, she worked at Idaho Power, Blocks and Tuxedos Now.

Kathleen’s hobbies included playing in the yard, gardening, reading, quilting, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Helen (Kevin) Misner, son Lance (Noreen) Gagon, grandchildren Ryan (Lindsay), Jesse (Katrina), Skylar (Julia), Holly (Kody), brother John (Yolonda) Waite, as well as ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lister and Mable, husband Duane Gagon, and sisters Roberta Titcomb and Revena Alexander.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Holly and Kody for living with her and attending to her every need. The family would also like to thank Sharon, Spring, Natalie, Shawtay, and Encompass Hospice.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 11th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please call Helen Misner at 208-604-3004 to RSVP or pay respects.
