Kathryn Bloxham

Kathryn Bloxham made her journey to heaven on August 25, 2015. Kathryn was born in January of 1926 in Archer, Florida. She met her husband John Bloxham during WWII and then moved to Pocatello where she has lived most of her life. She had 3 children whom she loved deeply; Carol (Neal) Warner, Robert Bloxham, Linda (Lynn) La Chappelle; 2 grandchildren, Troy (Cathy) Warner, Curtis (Malory) Warner, and 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan & Matty. She always said her family was her life. She went to work at Kraft Foods where she worked for 32 years. She had many friends whom she shared wonderful life time friendships with. Kathryn loved her yard and it showed with her beautiful flowers. She created a piece of heaven here on earth and loved to share it with everyone. She loved to cook and feed people. She was always so charitable. After retirement, Kathryn did numerous charitable services for cancer, mental health and other services. Kathryn always loved to give of herself in any way she could help. After 58 years, her husband, John, passed away. She was active at the Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed socializing and dancing with her friends. It was there where she met her best friend, Bill McCarty, who she spent enjoying the last 13 years with. To sum up Kathryns life, it was one of pure gratitude for life. Giving and loving all she was given. She was loved by many and will be missed by many. There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2 pm at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5 th Ave, Pocatello, ID 83204 with a gathering from 1-2 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83201 before the graveside service.
