Kent Bayliss

d. May 13, 2014

Kent Bayliss, 45, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at his home. This beloved angel returned to heaven to be with his best friend, his brother. Kent Norman Bayliss was born on January 24, 1969 to Norman & Pat Bayliss in Jerome, Idaho. He was the man everyone wanted to be friends with. He was always willing to lend a hand. If someone was down, he would do his best to cheer them up. Kent had a heart of gold and an amazing sense of humor. He had a passion for music and knew it all. He loved to shake his booty to it with the kids. He loved hanging out with his friends especially Brady Willis. If you found one, you would find the other. He loved fishing and would take Mercedes and Kobe out to catch the big ones. Going hunting was always more playing than actual hunting. Most of all, he loved spending time with his daughter and trying to teach her the things he loved. Kent is survived by the love of his life and soul mate, Christina Bayliss; his daughter, Mercedes Bayliss; son, Ted Caster; parents, Norman Bayliss, Pat Bayliss; two sisters, Kitty Miller, Rainee Arevalo; one brother, Kris Bayliss; two step-daughters, Kristin Goodenough, Tiffany Burtcher; two grandsons, Eydin and Nyte Goodenough. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl, grandparents, Carl & Ethel Small, and numerous Aunts and Uncles. I want to give a special thanks to all the Encompass Hospice Staff who stood beside us through this very difficult time. You all did a wonderful job. Kent, you have been my whole life for the past 21 years. We have had our good and bad times and you will be greatly missed. I love you with all my heart. You are truly my soul mate and my angel above. A memorial gathering will be Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2 PM at the LDS church located on the corner of 4th & Fredregil Rd, Pocatello, Idaho. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500 Condolences can be made to the family online at www.colonial-funeralhome.com
