Kevin Whittier

Kevin M. Whittier, 55, succumbed to cancer at his home in Twin Falls on Thursday, August 13, 2009. Kevin was born June 1, 1954 in Pocatello, Idaho to LaMar H. and Wanda Williams Whittier. His early years were filled with life-learning experiences on the family farm in Rockland. At age eight, he moved with his family to Mackay where he lived until he graduated from Mackay High School in 1972. Kevin graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelor degree in general engineering in 1977 and shortly thereafter earned his Professional Electrical Engineering License. After graduating from ISU, he began his 32-year career with Idaho Power where he had opportunities to work with employees across the state. Kevin married Janette England on March 31, 1981 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They raised their three children
