Laneve Robinson

November 6, 1931 — February 15, 2012

POCATELLO- LaNeve Robinson, 80, passed away at a Salt Lake City hospital following an illness Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

LaNeve was born November 6, 1931, in Logan, Utah to Horace Mark and Eva Waddoups. She was raised on a farm in Lewiston, Utah, where she graduated from North Cache High School in 1950.

LaNeve met Blaine Jepsen Robinson in Preston, Idaho and they were later married on September 22, 1950 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They moved to Pocatello where they have lived since 1951.

LaNeve's favorite activity was being around her family. She was very active in watching and supporting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren's activities. She had a passion for gardening and she loved to tend to her flowers. LaNeve also loved to spend time with her husband Blaine and enjoyed raising and racing horses.

LaNeve was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including Primary President and President of the Young Women. She also taught Sunday School and served many years in the Relief Society.

LaNeve is survived by her loving husband Blaine Jepsen Robinson of Pocatello, sons; Thaine (Kaloha) Robinson of Rexburg, Idaho, and Mark (Michelle) Robinson of Pocatello, Idaho, daughters; Jill (Rick) Capell of Pocatello, Idaho and Jo (Ron) Watson of Bountiful, Utah, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren with two on the way.

LaNeve is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Donald and Marr Waddoups.

Funeral services for LaNeve will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Pocatello 18th Ward Chapel on the corner of Hawthorne and Eldredge. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will follow the services in the Franklin City Cemetery, Franklin, Idaho. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, 238-8000.
