Larue Grimmett

LaRue Grimmett, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her home. LaRue attended schools in the Moreland area. She married T. Duane Grimmett in Blackfoot, Idaho on January 8, 1942. Together they had five children; Diana, Perry, Sherrill, Denny, and Steven. They lived in Blackfoot for many years and raised their family there. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery. LaRue is survived by her children, Diana Grimmett, Perry (Sidalta) Grimmett, Sherrill Grimmett, Dennis (Laretta) Grimmett, Steven Grimmett; brother, Gary Ellis; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 6-7:30 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500, and again on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 12-1 PM, one hour prior to services, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 1 PM at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Pocatello, ID.
