Leonard Norman Bell

Leonard Norman Bell was born to Verl and Buelah Bell on October 13, 1951 in Pocatello, Idaho. He attended Green Acres Elementary, Alameda Junior High, and Highland High School. He also attended ISU. He served a mission and returned home to marry his sweetheart, Loa Jane Morse on December 1st 1972. Leonard and Loa have been in love and happy together for 54 years; 47 years of marriage and 7 years of dating.

Leonard was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many bishoprics, high councils and served his mission in North Carolina and Virginia.

He loved playing, coaching and watching sports. He played football, baseball, wrestled and loved to play golf as well.

Leonard's wife and family wish to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and technicians who helped him through his last years of life. Leonard passed away from many illnesses on August 28, 2019. Loa wishes to express her everlasting love for Leonard. Loa considers it an honor and a blessing to be able to take of him throughout all of his illnesses.

Leonard is survived by: his wife, Loa Morse Bell of Pocatello; children, Leonard "Wade" Bell of Riverton, Utah, Trenton William Bell of Denver, Colorado, Michele Ann Bell Thomas of Idaho Falls, Idaho, David Richard Bell of Salt Lake City, Utah; siblings, Connie Berlene Spears of Pocatello, Ted Wayne Bell of Pocatello, Ned Blaine Bell of Pocatello, David William Bell of Ogden, Utah; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as a sister, Janet Moon.

Funeral services for Leonard will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2140 Satterfield Drive. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Interment will take place in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
