Louella "Becky" Reck

POCATELLO, ID - Louella "Becky" Reck, 88, of Pocatello and formerly of Hanover, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010, at a local care center. She was born on May 11, 1922 to William and Gertie Becker in Hanover, Pa. She spent most of her life there and graduated from Eichelberger High School in 1940. Becky married Cletus Reck and together they had two sons: Randolph and Christopher. Becky and Cletus remained in Hanover until 1996 when they moved to Pocatello to be with their children and grandchildren. Becky spent many years employed by Doubleday Books. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Becky enjoyed square dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most of all she just enjoyed people. She is survived by her sons: Randolph Reck (Judy) of Nashville, TN, and Christopher (Tanya) Reck of Pocatello, ID; her sister Connie Prendergast of Harrisburg, PA; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Cletus; her sisters Lorraine Myers, Louise Klinedinst, Loretta Bixler, Doris Hess; and brothers Caroll Becker and Forrest Becker. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2010, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave with Bishop Trent Hansen of the Alameda 8 th Ward Conducting.
