Louis Stauffer

Louis Eugene Stauffer, 69, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013, in Pocatello, Idaho. Louis graduated from Pocatello High School in 1962, where he played football and basketball. He also played at ISU as a running back. He joined in the United States Army on January 23, 1963, and then continued with the Army National Guard. Louis married Carma Bird. They had no children and were later divorced. He worked as a cook in the Stauffer family restaurant. He also tended a bar and played in a Rock Band. Louis was an avid golfer, fisher, and sport spectator. He loved to gamble and was always happy when he walked away money ahead from a blackjack table. He never missed a Super Bowl party or the Kentucky Derby. Louis was preceded in death by his parents. A military graveside will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Mountain View Cemetery by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard.
