Lowell Anton Campbell was born January 05, 1944 in Alliance, Ohio to Edward Ross Campbell and Ona Marie Wood Campbell Wilson. He died at home in Chubbuck, Idaho on May 2, 2017 after a one year battle with ALS. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Christena May Jackson Campbell, whom he married January 30, 1976. His oldest daughter, Dixie Marie Stone, her husband Victor Andrew Stone and her four children, Shauntara Elaine Phillips, Michael Lowell Campbell, Connor Andrew Stone and Illyana Chrystine Stone. He is also survived by his youngest daughter, Janice Lorraine Romero, her husband, Tony Jay Romero and their children, Jayden Jackson Romero and Jett Riley Romero. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his siblings, James Anson E Campbell, Patricia Nell Powell, Elsie Pauline Powell, Donald Ray Powell, Sarah Mae Powell, Dixie Lee Campbell, Alvah Ross Campbell, and Karen A Campbell. Lowell was a loving family man whose faith carried him through his illness. He cared about everyone he met and served whomever he could, including serving with his wife in the Idaho Falls temple. A special thanks to the loving ward that has taken such good care of the family through this struggle and the people at Veterans Affairs, Hospice Encompass, and the ALS association for being there to take care of his needs. The family also wants to thank all the people at Colonial Funeral Home for taking such good care of us all. A viewing will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 6-7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11 am at the LDS Chubbuck 3 rd Ward Chapel, 4773 Independence Ave. Chubbuck, ID 83202, with a viewing for one hour prior.
