Maryann Ferri

June 29, 1947 — December 5, 2020

Maryann Wilson Ferri, age 73, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away on December 5, 2020. She was born in Brigham City, Utah on June 29, 1947 to Horace Barlow Wilson and Ruth Ellen (McMurtrey) Wilson. Maryann grew up learning how to garden from her father, cooking from her mother and enjoyed spending time on her uncles farm riding horses for an entire summer of fun. She graduated from Ben Lomond High school in Ogden, Utah and completed cosmetology school. She later managed a mechanic shop, was a cook for AMI, and then became a full time homemaker as raising her kids and grandkids was the absolute joy of her life. Maryann celebrated over 33 years with her love, Donald Ferri. Her love and passion were her three sons and later all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would always encourage their dreams, praise their accomplishments and wanted the best for all. Maryann loved classic cars and cooking. She enjoyed sharing her knowledge and love with her family. Her favorite car was her purple 61 Thunderbird which she got to show off at the Peach Days Car Show. Maryann appreciated cooking for everyone; she cooked with love. If it was your birthday, you would get whatever meal and cake you wanted made from scratch and with love. She was the best gift giver and loved to find the most thoughtful things for her loved ones. Maryann enjoyed being with her family whether it was dancing, bowling, camping, celebrating birthdays and holidays, playing cards, weekend BBQs, sisters weekend getaways, or kids and grandkids sporting events. Much loved mother of Sean Miller (Trish), Justin Oram (Karen), Jonathan "Magoo" Oram (Katrina), Misty Naasz, and Todd Ferri. Cherished grandmother to Ashley, CJ, Braydon, Toni, Trey, Michelle, Christopher, Hailey, Hannah, Bobbylee, Amanda, Boe, Riley, Aviana, Aubriana, Tegan, Talon, Kylie and beloved great-grandmother of 23 great-grandchildren.
