Neil H. Ransbottom

Neil Ransbottom, 55, passed away May 12, 2012 at his home. Neil was born January 25, 1957 in Preston, Idaho to Raymond and Madge Ransbottom. His brother Jerry and sisters Sue and Annette welcomed him to the family. Brothers Bart and Jay later joined. Neil was a farm boy who grew up in the community of Whiney, Idaho. Neil attended Whitney Elementary and graduated from Preston High School.

Following graduation, Neil moved to Pocatello to start a business with his brother. Several years later he entered the Communications field where he spent the last 30 years of his life.

Neil married his first and only love, Terri Geddes, in the Logan Temple June 20, 1980. Neil and Terri have four children: Amber (Chris) Neilsen, Dana (Nick) Denning, Traci (Collin) Hill, and Neil Lee Ransbottom (and fiancé Danica.)

Neil was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He lovingly devoted his life to his family and his Heavenly Father.

He is survived by his wife and children, eight grandchildren; Carter, Preston, Madisen, Clark, Emrie, Sienna, Cameron and Alyssa; father, Raymond Ransbottom; siblings, Jerry (Wendy), Jay (Franette), Bart (Kathy), and Annette (Sam).

He is preceded in death by his mother and sister Susan.
