Patricia Marie Miles

d. June 1, 2015

Patricia Marie Neuberger Miles, 78, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer/Dementia disease at the home of her daughter, TerryLynn, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 4, 1937 to John Joseph Neuberger and Pernecy Marie Palmer in Ogden, Utah. They later moved to Logan, Utah where she continued attending school. She graduated from Logan High School in 1955. Patricia was very active in the high school music, drama and dance programs, she was also a member of the high school marching band. While attending Logan High School, she met the love of her life and high school sweet heart, Ruben Miles. Upon her graduation from high school, they were married in the Logan LDS Temple on June 10, 1955 where they were sealed for eternity. They have been together for 65 years. They continued to live in Logan for 2 years and then they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they built their home, raised their family, and lived for 50 years. They had 4 beautiful children, TerryLynn, Becky, Larry and Howard who kept them very busy and on their toes; camping, fishing, boating, all the sports and school activities their children were involved in. But she loved her family and would do anything for them. Patricia continued to be very active in the LDS Church and held many positions in the church. She was a very talented lady that had a major love for life. She became friends with everyone she met, and was always happy to help anyone needing or wanting help any way she could. She was a beautiful artist and loved doing wedding cakes. Everyone would come to her for their wedding cakes, and she could sew like no other. Patricia enjoyed and was always eager to teach anyone that wanted to learn to sew or make cakes. Patricia was a workaholic, she enjoyed all the jobs she worked at, and always went above and beyond in anything she did or was involved in. Patricia was a very proud Grandmother and Great-grandmother. She has 8 beautiful grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was so very proud of all of them. In 2008 due to medical and health problems, Patricia and Ruben moved to Inkom, Idaho to live with their daughter TerryLynn, son in law, David and granddaughter Samantha Leissring where they were able to have help with their medical needs and be more active again.
