Patricia Yvonna Lewis Flowers Reed, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, of complications from congestive heart failure. She was born to Leonard Lee and Thyra Louise Johnson Lewis on March 25, 1937 in Omar, West Virginia. Her schooling was in Rupert and Boise, Idaho. Pat married Ramon (Bud) Flowers on September 28, 1952, but was later divorced. On February 10, 1963, she married Douglas Eugene Reed in Fayetteville, N.C., as Doug finished his stint in the Army./ Pat always worked, being a waitress, housekeeper, and an employee at Simplot Processing, Ore-Ida and finishing her career at Lamb Weston in American Falls. Having to retire for medical reasons, she became a dispatcher for Pathfinders/Independent Pilots. It was always so funny to hear her talk to the truck drivers, calling them "Honey" and to be careful. Pat and Doug used to take 'road trips' on his motorcycle, loved to snow machine (being members of the Pocatello Stump Thumpers) and even had a few years of racing stock cars. Pat loved to quilt, crochet, and embroider. We are positive everyone she cared about has something that she made through the years, from pot holders to quilts. Pat was also an active member of the Pocatello Red hat Society, making several friends that she treasured. She is survived by her daughter, Juanita (Gene) Sorg, Paul, Idaho, son, Kelby (Lillie) Flowers, Pocatello, Idaho, daughter, Lori (Kim) Ball, Price, Utah, sister, Sharon (Conley) Frost, Heyburn, Idaho, sisters-in-law, Pat (David) Schiewe, Hereford, Oregon, and Carol Reed, Nevada, grandchildren, Jeremy Galbraith, Michelle Green, Tracie (Shane) Bell, Patti (Chris) Sherburne, Miriah (Louis) Tilley, Ryan (Monica) Okelberry, Kamille (Ken) Mort, Matt Ball, Danny Ball, Mikell (David) Johnson, and Alexis (Dorian) Scoville, Utah and Special Extended grandchildren, Bart (Vickie) Sorg, Norlene (Scot) Schneider, Dain (Teri) Sorg, Van (Leslie) Sorg, Tawnya (Jake) Kraus, if we counted right, 38 great-grandchildren (1 on the way), 28 great-great-grandchildren (1 on the way), and not to mention her many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Shililah Okelberry (May 23, 2013), sons, Johney Flowers and Christopher Reed, brother, Dewey Lewis, and grandson, Rowdy Sorg. Her Viewing will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. the evening before and one hour before her service. There will also be a graveside dedication at the Rupert Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. Juanita and Kelby want to thank their mom for just being her and being the best grandmother any grandchild would be lucky to have. She is so loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. .
