Pauline Fullmer

January 21, 1939 — March 11, 2017

Pauline Robinson-Fullmer passed away March 11, 2017 peacefully at a local hospital surrounded by her four loving children.

Pauline was born January 21, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Lomas Robinson and Thelma Anna Fritz. She was the second of 7 children. When she was 2 years old her family moved to Pocatello, where she enjoyed playing in the hills and helping on the family farm. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1957. In 1963 she met Larry Kay Fullmer and on August 23 they were married. They moved around southeast Idaho until returning to Pocatello in 1976. They were blessed with 4 children, 3 girls & a boy, Michael Anne (Miki), William Howard (Bill), Teri Lyn, and Becky Sue. Sadly, on April 24, 1986 Larry returned home to his Heavenly Father. It was then that Pauline had to learn to become both mother and father, and did an excellent job raising 4 children by herself.

Over the years, Pauline has held different jobs: 2 years at KWIK radio, 9 years in the accounting office at American Potato, 3 years as pianist for Hawthorne & Irving Junior High Schools, and 29 years for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was still working full time right up until she was admitted to the hospital, 5 weeks before she passed away. Her favorite saying was, "I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you!"

Pauline was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her whole life. Her faith and strong testimony were examples and a shining light to all she came in contact with, especially to her kids and grandkids. She loved to increase her knowledge of the gospel by going to religion classes as often as she could. She held numerous callings faithfully: taught in Relief Society, Young Women's President, Primary teacher, and has worked in the Family History Center. But her true passion was playing the piano & organ. She has been the organist/pianist in Junior Sunday School, Young Women's Organization, Relief Society, Sacrament meeting, and Primary. She has also played piano for many musical numbers. She was a devoted visiting teacher and went faithfully every month; she never missed, even at the beginning of her illness. She loved the ladies she got to visit. She spent her time sewing, crocheting, crafting, but most importantly, spending time with her family, especially the loves of her life, her 13 grandchildren, (10 boys and 3 girls).
Pauline is survived by her 3 sisters, Nancy Morrison, Dianne (Gary) Gunnell, and Jeannette Barnhart; her 4 children: Miki (Eric) Loveridge, Bill (Alison) Fullmer, Teri Fullmer, and Becky (Dallas) Orr; as well as 12 beautiful grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband Larry, her brothers, Paul, Cecil, and David, and her grandson Justin Orr.

The Fullmer family extends a special thanks to the medical staff at the Bingham Memorial Hospital. There aren't enough words of gratitude for the doctors, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and massage therapists for the wonderful and caring treatment that our mom received. We can never thank you enough. You not only treated our mother's illness, you cared for her as if she was one of your own! Thank you!

Funeral services for Pauline will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Pocatello 18th Ward LDS Chapel, 3444 Hawthorne Road, with Rob Webb conducting. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Her interment will follow at the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery where she will be buried next to her husband.
