Richard Lee Lenon Sr.

POCATELLO " Richard Lee Lenon, Sr., 76, of Pocatello, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home following a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease on Sunday, March 25, 2012.

Lee was born to James and Mertle Lenon on July 23, 1935 in Gibson, Idaho. Lee grew up and attended school in Blackfoot, Idaho. Lee ran a wholesale candy and cigarette route in the Salmon and Challis area. He also worked for Eddy's Bakery, and was the owner of Lenon's Cake and Catering for 37 years.

Lee has been married for 53 years to his wonderful wife Lois Lenon.

Lee enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a very artistic. He used is artistic abilities in photography and cake decorating. He also loved spending time in the outdoors, camping and fishing.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Lois Lenon of Pocatello, Idaho, sons; Richard (Mindy) Lenon Jr. of Pocatello, Idaho, Steve (Julie) Lenon of Pocatello, Idaho, Stacey (Kim) Lenon of Pocatello, Idaho, brother; Jim (Helen) Lenon of Brea, California, sisters; Naoma (Harley) Christensen of Kaysville, Utah, Roxine Stone of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Virginia (Ron) Cowdell of Salt Lake City, Utah, grandchildren; Nate, Jeremy, Chris, Jake, Andy, April (Bob) Asumendi, and Josh. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

Lee is preceded in death by both of his parents, one brother and one sister.
