Richard Leon Lewis

Richard “Rick” Leon Lewis passed away February 13, 2013 at his South Marsh Creek home, following an extended illness.

Rick was born in Blackfoot, Idaho August 8, 1950 to Harry N. and Dorothy A. Lewis. He grew up in Pocatello, where he graduated from Highland High School then served a short time in the military.

Rick spent the majority of his working career at FMC. He married Laura Frederack, they were later divorced.

Rick enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and spent many summers with his Dad and Brothers at the cabin in Island Park.

Rick is survived by his Mother, Dorothy A. Lewis, Pocatello; brothers, Randy (Alice) Lewis, McCammon; Wayne (Dannette) Lewis, Pocatello; Barry Lewis, Island Park; and sisters, Peggy (Ralph) Johnson, Pocatello; Jacque (Jim) Boyce, Chubbuck. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry N. Lewis and brother, Larry Lewis.

A gathering of friendship and remembrance will be held from Noon - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. An informal memorial service for Rick will be held at approximately 1:00 P.M., with Military Rites provided by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard and Idaho National Guard Honors Detail. He will be interred at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
