Pocatello-Rita C Cue,72, passed away at her home with her loving family at her side on Friday, September 20, 2013. At Rita's request, there will be no services and cremation will take place. Colonial Funeral Home is caring for Rita's family. Rita Constance Cue was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She moved to Long Beach, California with her husband Kenneth L Cue, of 53 years, in 1966 and resided there for 40 years. She raised seven children there and moved back to Pocatello in 2006 until she went to be with our heavenly father on September 20, 2013. She loved her job as a scale master at the Scale House in Long Beach, CA, where she worked for 20 years and formed lasting friendships. She retired from Starbucks in Albertsons in 2010. She enjoyed the people she worked with and continued that friendship after retirement. Rita , was the pillar of the her family and adored by all. Her favorite pastime was reading and she instilled the love of reading in most of her children. She was a member of Central Christian Church, and enjoyed the performances of her grandchildren there. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Cue, and their seven children and their spouses, Candice McHawes, Kenneth Cue Jr, Angel and Robert Chapa, April and Ernesto Casas, Shawn and Linda Cue, Charimon Camp, Daniella and Bill Bieker, Yolanda (Leyva-Cue) Salas. Also two brothers Darwin Edwards, and Oriville Edwards. She also had 27 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Rita is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Edwards and mother Opal Edwards, also her sister baby Edwards and her daughter Angela Cue. MY MOM HAS PASSED AWAY WE WERE NOT READY TO LET YOU GO EVEN THOUGH WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS YOUR TIME WE CAN'T GET THAT THOUGH OUR MINDS, WE WERE NOT READY TO LET YOU GO WE WISH WITH ALL OUR HEARTS THAT YOU WERE STILL HERE WITH US. WE LOVE YOU, MOMMY
