Rodney Dean Anderson, 49, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 24, 2010. Rodney was born on November 6, 1960 in Pocatello, Idaho to Royal D. and Evelyn K. Anderson.

Rodney was educated in Pocatello, Idaho, attending Edahow Elementary, Hawthorne Junior High, and graduated in 1979 from Highland High School. He worked for Jack B. Parsons for 15 years. He was also employed by Envirocon until his passing. Which gave him opportunity to have adventures along the California Coast.

He was very proud to be able to run any large construction equipment as a Master Operator, and he was proud of his training in HazMat certification.

Rod kept himself and others entertained with is R.C. Toy collection. He loved camping and fishing whether it was on Lake Powell with family, or on the Ocean with friends. His happiest moments were with his family and grandson, Payton (almost 2). Especially his grandpa kisses when Payton would tug and kiss on grandpa's fu-ma-chew.

Rodney's generosity for others will be greatly missed. If he had it, he would give it. If it was needed, he would get it.

Rodney is survived by his daughter, Kiley (Boe) Southworth and grandson Payton. He is also survived by his siblings; Judy (Stephen) Frazier, Dennis R. (Verna) Anderson, Sandra (Jim) Pratt, Karen (Erwin) Zundel, Paul M. (Marie) Anderson, Mark E. (Jill) Anderson, Ray K. Anderson, Roger J. (Wendy) Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Royal D. Anderson and Evelyn Karlson Anderson.
