He was born January 25, 1936 to Earl Harvey and Oma Alene Miles in Preston, Idaho. They later moved to Logan, Utah where he continued attending and graduated from Logan High School in 1954. He loved his family very much and would do anything for them. Don continued to be very active in the LDS church for many years and held several positions in the church. Don loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, snowmobiling, 4 wheelers. He also really enjoyed playing pool and competing in the sport. Don was a very proud husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. He has 8 beautiful grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He was so very proud of all of them. In 2008, due to medical and health problems, Ruben, and his wife, Patricia, moved to Inkom, Idaho to live with their daughter, TerryLynn, son-in- law, David, and granddaughter, Samantha Leissring. There, they were able to have the help they needed with their medical issues and needs and become more active again. Don also became very active with his son-in-law, David.
