Rula Minor

Rula Minor, 97, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2017 in Pocatello Idaho.

Rula was born December 4, 1919 at home in St. Charles, Idaho to Boon and Agusta Bunderson. She was the third of six daughters born to that union. She married Cloyd Minor on May 22, 1941 and were later sealed for time and eternity in the Logan LDS Temple. They purchased the Bunderson family home, and lived and raised their two boys Marion (Mike) and Steve, until 1973 when they moved to Pocatello with Cloyd's job as a railroad engineer.

Rula was a very talented lady, who loved fixing hair for her St. Charles neighbors, doing needlepoint, and knitting. She was a hard worker, as comfortable on a tractor or horse as in her home. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and was thrilled to become a 3-time great grandmother.

Rula is survived by her two sons, Mike of Sandy, Utah and Steve (Barbara) of Chubbuck, Idaho; three grandchildren Cindy (Tyler) Morrey, Kirk (Marilyn) Minor and Nathan; and three great-grandchildren Kinsey Morrey, Kaylee Morrey, and William Minor. She was preceded in death by her husband Cloyd Minor, her parents, sisters, and daughter-in-law Lucille Minor.

The family will greet friends from 10:00-10:45am on Tuesday, May 23 with the funeral services following at 11:00am at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 West Chubbuck Road. Interment will be in the St. Charles, Idaho cemetery.

The family would like to express special thanks to Jim and Michelle Nelson, Dell and Doris Smellie, and Todd and Heidi Payne for their loving kindness to Mom and to Alliance Hospice for their tender care in Mom's last month.
