Russell Lynn Marcham

April 3, 1961 — June 8, 2023

Russell Lynn Marcham passed away at his home on June 8th, 2023 in Pocatello, Idaho, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born on April 3rd, 1961, he was the youngest of eight children born to George and Margaret Marcham, and the beloved spouse of Sherry Marcham.

Russell and Sherry shared 41 years of love and devotion together. Sherry had three children from a previous marriage that Russell loved and cared for as if they were his own. Russell cherished his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. His grandchildren brought him immense joy and happiness.

Raised in Arimo, Idaho, Russell was a proud graduate of Marsh Valley High School. He enjoyed going to car shows, camping and fishing with his children and grandchildren, and spending time “dinking around” in his garage.

Russell was a dedicated employee and worked for many years as a cook at TP Gas & Deli in Fort Hall, Idaho. His easy smile, kind heart, and numerous jokes made him a favorite among everyone he worked with.

Russell is survived by his wife, Sherry Marcham (Pocatello); his children, Brandon (Brittney) Turner (Grace), Joe (Sheila) Turner (Pocatello), Krissy (Annie) Bento-Turner Chadwick (Pocatello); two sisters, Barbara (Bill) Lester (Bancroft), Hazel Merrill (Arizona); his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his cherished truck, Thumper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Marcham; sisters, Shirley Hazelwood and Joyce Harris; and brothers, Robert, Raymond, and Richard “Lee” Marcham.

No formal services will be held for Russell at this time.
