Ruth "Elaine" Jones Tillotson passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the age of 88, in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born June 26, 1928 in Malad, Idaho to John and Armenta Richard Jones. She married Commodore Tillotson April 7, 1946 in Pocatello, Idaho and together they had 6 children; Brent, Nancy Lowe, Kirk (Jill), Kim, Terry and John. They resided in the Pocatello area most of their marriage, eventually moving to May, Idaho in 1977 until Comms death in 1979. Elaine then moved to Blackfoot and then to Pocatello where she remained until her death. She married Delbert Parker 6 years later but that marriage ended in divorce after 17 years of marriage. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Armenta Richard Jones; husband, Commodore Tillotson; son, John Tillotson; brothers, Victor (Jane) Jones, LaVar Jones; sisters, Alice (Doug) Ferguson, Margaret (William) Asire, Melba (Dean) Harmon, Shirley (Bill) Williams, Merle (Wayne) Henderson, Donna (Paul) Tillotson, Kay (Frank) Williams; grandson, Ben Tillotson; and great-grandson, Alex Cuellar. She is survived by her 5 children; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Encompass Hospice and Quail Ridge Assisted Living for their care and compassion. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID, with a viewing for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at the Cambridge Cemetery, Downey, Idaho.
