Ruth Lish

We are saddened to announce the passing of this beautiful soul, Ruth W. Lish, 92, on March 11, 2023 at Brookdale, in Pocatello, Idaho.

She was born on August 29, 1930 to Joseph and Maude Eisenman in Scotland, South Dakota.

She was married to the love of her life, Ernest Lish, on May 29, 1961 in the Methodist Church in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Ruth worked and retired from Farmer’s Insurance. She and Ernie enjoyed traveling, cruising and square dancing where they have made many friends. They had no children. They enjoyed being snowbirds to Apache Junction, Arizona, and spending time at their cabin in Island Park. Ruth was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pocatello, Idaho.

She is preceded in death by her parents; older sister, Myrtle Eisenman Miller; her husband, Ernie and several cousins.

We would like to thank all who cared for her: Home Helper, Debbie Taylor; her friend at Cottonwood Cove, Doreen Arnold; and Enhabit Hospice, Dr. Nielsen.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Norton Cemetery in McCammon, Idaho.

Ruth is remembered with love by her friend, JoAnn Fehringer, and family.
