Shirley Lucille Beck

Shirley Lucille Clark Beck,75, was called home to her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2015. She was born February 14, 1940 in Stringer, Mississippi, one of ten children born to Elisha and Mammie Miller Clark. She has spent most of her life in Idaho, living in Salmon, Potlatch and Pocatello. She worked as a bartender, a CNA and a prep cook. She is survived by her spouse of 21 years, Norman C. Beck, her children Gary L. Ogden (Candy) of Challis, Kathy L. Ogden-Parrish of Pocatello, Sheri E. Ogden Kemmerer of Filer, Debbie K. Ogden Marchetti (Jim) of Pocatello, Denise R. Ogden of Pocatello, Deana M. Parmenter Pitner (Casy) of Pocatello. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. They are , Andrew Burk, Preston Kemmerer, Cody Marchetti, Kaden Marchetti, Ashlynn Robinson, Mandalyn Robinson, Crystal Olvera, Kaydee Lish, all of Pocatello, Roger Ogden, Boise, , Jessica Marchetti, Boise, Lindsay Ogden, Couer dAlene, Amber Kemmerer, Filer, Karissa Osborne, California, Matthew, Douglas and Jason Albritton, Mississippi, & Jake, Jasmine and Charlie Vernon of Mississippi. Grandma "Lucy" is also survived by great grandchildren Christian Burk, Caliah Burk, Christopher Blood, Isabella Blood, Alex Kade Williams, Noah L. Williams and Kaybrie May. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters, a daughter, Rebecca Albritton and grandson Alex Blood. She was blessed to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren during her final months. It was her wish to express thanks and appreciation for the exceptional care she received from Dr. Michael Callaghan and the entire staff of Portneuf Cancer Center. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S.4 th Ave, Pocatello, Idaho 83201, 208-233-1500.
