Sidney D. Knudsen

Sidney D. Knudsen, 61, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday January 12, 2013. Sidney was born in Pocatello, Idaho on January 26, 1951 to Rece Sorensen and Aleen Wellard.

She attended schools in Pocatello and Blackfoot, graduating from Highland High School in 1969. She married Steven Knudsen on August 30, 1969. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on November 24, 1978. Together they made their home in Pocatello. However transfers with Steven's job took them to North Little Rock, Arkansas, Ogden, Utah and Great Falls, Montana.

Sidney enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, making crafts and traveling. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by; her husband, Steven Knudsen, Pocatello; parents, Rece and Aleen Sorensen, Chubbuck; daughters, Laci Kotnick, Chubbuck, Penni (Joel) Ketch, Billings, MT; siblings, Les (Mae) Sorensen, Inkom, Margo (Dave) Stuart, Chubbuck, JoLynn (Bill) MaHaffey, Chubbuck, Rod (Mary) Sorensen, Chubbuck; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; her grandparents and a niece.
