Stephen Charles Hisaw

September 18, 1946 — July 3, 2012

Stephen C, Hisaw, also known as Steve Corbridge, 65, passed away peacefully July 3, 2012. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho on September 18, 1946 to Edith Fowler and John K. Hisaw. His parents were later divorced and in 1949 Edith married Gerald C. (Judd) Corbridge who became Steve's dad.

Steve lived all his life in Pocatello, growing up in a house on Randolph. He attended local schools and graduated from Highland High School in 1967. That year he joined the Army and spent the next two years based in Germany as a radio operator with the signal corps. He was honorably discharged from the US Army.

Steve spent the next years working in a variety of jobs. He worked longest for Idaho State University in the maintenance department taking care of the extensive grounds at the University.

Steve's interests ranged from guns and shooting to riding a motorcycle to putting together plastic models of animals, cars, trucks and other vehicles. He tinkered with radios and electronics and loved to ride his bike, keeping it in tune. He liked to read, to bowl, to shoot pool and to go camping.

He was preceded in death by his mother Edith, his dad Judd (Gerry) and brother-in-law J.D.

He is survived by a brother Bruce (Kaye) Corbridge, Pocatello, and two sisters, Chris (J.D.) Bull, Everett Washington and Shelly (Doug) Mitton, Idaho Falls. He had numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve's wish to be cremated has been fulfilled. His ashes will be interred at the gravesite of his mother Edith Corbridge at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello on August 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to meet at that time.
