Tasha Ann Johnson-Lupo, 33, was born on January 24, 1986 to Kerry Samuel Johnson and Traci Denice Hopkins. From the moment of her birth, she was the sunshine of everyones lives with her beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes. Tasha was a child of God from the beginning, going to Sunday school and church with her grandma Ann was her favorite thing. Tasha continued to trust in the Lord up until her death; whether through simple trials or her troubles with dependencies. Tasha traveled every summer to Montana to spend time with her father, Sam, grandma, Frances, grandpa, Everett, her aunts, Holly and JoEllen and their families. She shared their vacations and adventures with them, each one having their own tractor to ride in the Labor Day Parade. These are memories they will all have to cherish. When Tasha was 12 years old she welcomed her new step-father, Brad Funk and soon her little brother, Chase, who followed his "Sissy" everywhere. Soon they were to meet their brother, Nicklaus, and the three became one. Tasha excelled in everything from high honor roll in high school to achieving the Golden Eagle in Marksmanship in her graduation from boot camp in the U.S. Navy. Tasha married Trent Nielson; they were later divorced but remained close friends. She then met and married "The love of her life" Justin Lupo. Their daughter, Little Francie Ann, entered the world in the same fashion as her mother; a ray of sunshine. Francie (Frannie as Tasha called her) was Tashas life. Frannie and her mother had a special relationship from cooking together to reading their bed time stories to saying prayers together. They planted their fairy gardens and had friends over to roast marshmallows over the fire pit. Tasha could create a masterpiece meal for 2-20 people with barely anything in the fridge. She always believed in having those less fortunate, or without family, over for the holidays. She would have given anyone the clothes off her back if they needed them. Tasha left this world on September 26, 2019 with family by her side. She is no longer in pain and is now in the loving arms of God and her family and friends that have passed on before her. Tasha was preceded in death by her grandpa, John Hopkins; grandma and grandpa, Johnson; step-father, Bradley R. Funk; and step-grandfather, Melvin Funk. She is survived by her daughter, Francie Ann Lupo; Justin Lupo and their dog, Yola; father, Sam Johnson; mother, Traci Funk; brothers, Chase Bradley Funk and Nicklaus Beebe; grandparents, Ann and Paul Faulkner and Sheila Funk; Francies grandparents, Mark and Denise Lupo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live even though he dies; and who ever lives and believes in Me will never die." A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Alliance Church, 800 Marinus Lane, Pocatello. Family will meet with friends and family for one hour prior.
