Terry Dean Whitworth

Terry Dean Whitworth, 55, passed away at his home on August 26, 2011.

Terry was born on March 6, 1956, to Arden Francis and Veeva Dean (Wheeler) Whitworth. He graduated from Highland Senior High School at the age of 17. As soon as he graduated he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served three years in Germany.

Terry returned to Pocatello following his service to his country and began attending Idaho State University. During this time he married and was blessed with a baby boy, Jeremy Richard Whitworth. He later divorced. He was then hired on at Union Pacific Railroad as a track foreman. It wasn't long into his career there that he was involved in accident that left him quadriplegic.

Terry later met and married Charlotte Aguanta. Together they operated a logging business in Island Park. They blessed with a beautiful daughter, Qaren Dean Whitworth. They were later divorced.

Terry loved to travel the world with his children. He lived a normal life and never once let the wheelchair get in his way. Terry was a very giving and generous person. He enjoyed collecting rocks and gained his fulfillment with time spent with family and being a helpful person.

Terry will be deeply missed by his children, Jeremy R. (Angie) Whitworth, Pocatello; Qaren D. (Justin Kennedy) Whitworth, Pocatello; father, Arden F. (Norma) Whitworth, Inkom; brothers, Todd F. (Patsy) Whitworth, Pocatello; Merlin E. Tiede, Germany; Mark E. (Dawnetta) Tiede, Pocatello; uncle, Albert N. (Karen) Whitworth, Inkom; aunts, Iris (Gordon) Bernier, Inkom; Darla (Jug) Tolman, Portland, OR; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Terry will now be reunited with his mother, Veeva Whitworth; sister, Derice Wooten; brother, Greg Whitworth; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a niece, Lori.
