POCATELLO - Thomas H. Davidson, 78, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 11, 1934, in Salt Lake City, UT, to William and Virginia Davidson. Thomas was raised in Pocatello and has lived here all his life. He attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School. His first marriage was to Lanelle Shoemaker; they later divorced. He married Judith Watts and together they had a daughter, Wendy. He later married Clifta Anderson and together they had a daughter, Virginia. In his early days he worked in the Albertsons Bakery decorating cakes. He later went to work at Williamsons Body and Equipment, then landed a job with the Union Pacific Railroad that he loved. He retired from the railroad and also retired from Western Air. Thomas was a Christian. He loved fishing, welding, engraving, calligraphy, and visiting around town. He was always helping his friends by taking out garbages, shoveling sidewalks, shopping for them, or anything they needed. He loved to ride Harley Davidsons and taking rides with Clifta. He is survived by his daughter Wendy (Chris) Torgesen of Pocatello; daughter Virginia "Ginny" (Tommy) Liggins of Pocatello; sister Robin (Dale) Jensen of Pocatello; brother William Ray Davidson of Rupert, ID; granddaughter Nichole (Troy) Lintredt of Pocatello; granddaughter Tonya (Jared) Bernt of Pocatello; grandson Jeffery Christensen of Pocatello; granddaughter Ginnette "Nettie" Christensen of Boise; granddaughter Anna (McKay) Young of Thayne, WY; granddaughter Jennie (Nate) of Eagle Mountain, UT; grandson Michael (Jennifer) Torgesen of Logan, UT; grandson Steven Torgesen of Soda Springs, ID; and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Virginia and William, wife Clifta Davidson, and step-father Chet Thompson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 South 4th Ave. A visitation for family and friends will take place at Colonial Funeral Home Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from noon to 1:45 P.M. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
