Thomas Larson

Thomas Larson passed peacefully from this life on August 9, 2021.

Thomas, the oldest son, was born on March 2, 1951 in Rigby, Idaho to Virgil and Barbara Larson.
He attended schools in Rigby and Rexburg, Idaho and graduated from Madison High School in 1969. After graduating from high school, Thomas attended University of Idaho graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Thomas married Marie Bowles in 1971 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Three beautiful children made this union complete.

Thomas served honorably in the U.S. Army. He loved horses, mules, and hunting. You could find him tinkering and generally collecting tools, guns and mechanical items that needed to be repaired.

Thomas is survived by his beautiful wife Marie, daughter Yvonne M. (Brian)Thurber; son Virgil D. (Jamie) Larson; daughter Rindee M. Larson; eight grandchildren; four brothers and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil Dean and Barbara Lois Brower Larson.

A funeral service will be held in his honor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 14, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 450 James Avenue Chubbuck, Idaho. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday August 13, 2021 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 West Chubbuck Road Chubbuck, Idaho. Interment will follow the services on Saturday at the Annis Little Butte cemetery near Rigby, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org/donation.
